Seven years ago my wife and I witnessed a life changing event- totality in a solar eclipse. It is hard to describe with words the impact of seeing our sun completely and perfectly covered by the moon, and the corona of our star becoming visible. This event inspired the songs “Totality” and “The Shadows Path”. In honor of the April 8th total eclipse, I have re-mixed this song with new inspiration to celebrate this incredible event. Totality (Reborn Mix) is deep and powerful but also super groovy and flowy. The song features a tension building intro as the sun becomes covered and as you approach the moment of totality you are dropped into a gorgeous downtempo and otherworldly soundscape. Kathryn Ashgrove’s vocals balance out the darkness and evoke the majesty and divinity of our sun and moon aligning perfectly with the earth.
